A New Year!!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New's Year! Our was greater than expected, we travelled to Georgia to visit my dad's side of the family which we had not seen in a few months! Plus, it was my brother's 13th birthday, he is just growing up so fast I can't believe he is already 13. We had a great time and got many things that will come in handy in the next few months with the house planning and baby on the way. On Christmas day we made the trip back to Huntsville to have a great Christmas with Josh's family and my mom's side of the family. Overall it was great to see so many people in a small timeframe. We wish we cold have spent more time together but are glad for the time we did get to spend with them.

This morning at 5:14 am, Josh and I welcomed our first niece into the world, Kendall! She was 7 pounds, 9 ounces and 20 inches long. We are so happy she finally got here! We have been waiting so long to see her sweet little face! We hate that we couldn't be up in Kansas to be there for this great day! But hopefully she will be coming back home soon for a visit!
Now that we are in 2008 and are waiting patiently for our little one to arrive, we are in the process of building a house. I am so ready to get started, all of the odds and ends looks like they are coming together and hopefully in a matter of weeks we will start seeing the transformation of our new home.

News!!

Well, I thought since everyone is using this these days I should start too!!

Josh and I have now been married for over a year and life is great!! We just sold our first house and will start building our dream home in the near future!! Hopefully we will not break the bank! So for now we are living with relatives until the house is built.

Another surprise that popped up along the way is we are having a baby!! In about 6 months we are going to have a little one grace us with his/her presents. So Josh and I are very excited to start preparing for that arrival, hopefully we will be in our new home too!

Josh and I both have had significant accomplishments in the past year! I have just graduated with my masters! I am so happy I will not have to do anymore school work ever again! Josh has just completed his first year in the Apprentice program at Huntsville Utilities!! Three more to go babe!

Josh had a great year in the O'Reilly United Mini Sprint Association Racing Series, he won 3 races and finished 5th in the Series. We have had a great year traveling around cheering Josh on as he raced hard with his competitors. I am so happy he had such a good year since it doesn't look like we will be racing much this coming year with all the other adventures we have ahead of us.
